Thumbstick Tuesday – 9th August 2022

Ben

This week, Ben has had a quiet week with games. Of course, he found some spare time for FM22 and Dead Cells. It wouldn’t be a normal week without those two games.

    • FAR Changing Tides.

Whilst he’s mostly been playing FM 22 on PC, he’s found the time to complete FAR Changing Tides; it’s available on Xbox Game Pass and is an adventure puzzle game from Okomotive. A fantastic game that isn’t too stressful and looks absolutely stunning! Next week he’ll be back on the Switch with some more games. There’s a new review game in called Lost In Play that looks like a lot of fun. Keep an eye on our Nintendo review section for when that drops.

Martin

This week Martin has mostly been playing Oxygen Not Included on the PC. If you enjoy playing that, you should let us know. Martin’s also had some time on the PS5 and the PS Vita too. Nintendo hasn’t had a lot of love this week.

This week saw Martin continuing to play a game that he’s been meaning to play more of for a long time, Vampyr. You play as Dr Jonathan Reid, who has recently been bitten and turned into a vampire. It’s actually a pretty decent third-person RPG game from Dontnod Entertainment.
