Tackle for Loss

2D Top-Down Action Game Tackle for Loss Announced

Indifferent Penguin are pleased to announce their debut game, Tackle for Loss. Indifferent Penguin is a solo indie developer based in Berlin and this is his debut game!

Daniel reached out to us about the announcement and as you may know, we love Indie games/devs on this site.

Tackle for Loss is an action game with a 2D top-down view and it puts you in the shoes of a former American football pro. The game will feature violent combat (nice!), dark pixel art, and a captivating narrative that combine to create a pumped-up experience.

It is said that this game is inspired by the likes of Hotline Miami… Which I bloody love! I really like the style of graphics chosen for Tackle for Loss which can be seen in the below screenshot.

Tackle for Loss

Tackle for Loss will see players driven by a desperate mission to save a loved one whilst the lingering of many concussions haunt the player.

As you will see in the trailer down below, the game looks super violent, it also looks like it could be the perfect game to play on the ever increasing number of handheld gaming PC’s. The Steam Deck, ROG Ally, Legion Go, etc.

Whilst fighting for your loved one, you will be able to chain combos together by rapidly eliminating enemies. This also increases the score multipliers. There will also be a large variety of perks and skills that players can experiment with.

As you progress through the game you will be able to unlock new unique moves and attacks.

Once you’ve watched the trailer, you can check out our previous news. If you wish to learn more, please visit the Steam Store page. Get on over there and wish list this game, now!… Please. 😁
