The single-player horror game inspired by the A Quiet Place franchise is out now. This new game is brought to us by Saber Interactive, Paramount Game Studios, and Stormind Games.
A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead can be played on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S right now! That’s of course after you spend £24.99 on it.
You will have to use your wits and whatever tools you can find to help you survive. One majorly advertised feature is microphone detection, so if you scream or even make a noise into a microphone, the deadly creatures will hear you. So stay quiet and be prepared as one of the creatures could be around every corner, waiting to snack on you.
One thing I will say is that it’s being said that the microphone feature will be a day one patch. It’s also being said that it’s a “thrilling new feature”, which isn’t a new feature in my humble opinion. There have been many indie horror games that have microphone detection. Phasmophobia also has it and that’s been out for a few years now, I think.
Either way, the game looks pretty good, and the graphics look fantastic. In the game, players will take on the role of a young college student named Alex. Alex suffers from asthma and is struggling to survive the end of the world.
