Chronique des Silencieux from developers Pierre Feuille Studio now has a playable demo available on Steam for free.
This game is a captivating detective title, and it looks bloody amazing.
Chronicle of the Silent
That’s the French to English translation of the game name, thanks Google Translate. Anyway, Chronique des Silencieux is set in the 1970’s France. It will see players step into the shoes of Eugène Faury, a rookie private eye who has been entrusted with solving this strange case.
This strange and peculiar case will see Eugène starting off in the streets of Meriadeck, Bordeaux as he investigates Victor Dousvalon. Victor is a stubborn old history professor who has shrouded his life in secrecy.
The game will see budding investigators thinking on their feet to solve the delicate mystery that is afoot. Follow leads, question witnesses, detect lies, and dig through documents to break the silence and decades-old lies.
The playable demo on Steam features the opening of the game. It will introduce us to a colourful cast of characters as Eugène begins his investigation in Bordeaux. Of course, you will also get to experience the beautifully hand-drawn graphics in the game. This is the work of Rémi Chayé and it is occompanied by a soundtrack that is influenced by the masters of 60’s and 70’s cinema, giallo mystery and crime thrillers.
