Set on the hostile planet Valtar, “Valtar Odyssey” is an adventure game where players will follow the journey of Samuel, Sarah, and Clunky. They will face deadly alien creatures and ruthless smugglers. Plus, the mysterious Collector in their quest for hidden power within the ancient ruins.
The game is set in a world where the Orion Archeological Order and Guardian Corps protect relics and valuable resources. All whilst the Lost Civilization of Xantao guards ancient knowledge.
Players will encounter terrifying monsters like the Talondromeus from the depths of the planet. There’s also the Collector’s smuggling syndicate, led by a ruthless figure who commands a chained beast.
Relic Odyssey offers a unique gameplay experience with its powered gloves, exploration-focused digging rig, and mix of both hand-crafted and procedurally generated levels. You’ll get to enjoy a combination of exploration, combat, and discovery as you craft weapons and uncover the secrets of a civilization that was sent to an alternate universe by invading forces. Scheduled to release on Steam in Q2 2024, Relic Odyssey: Ruins of Xantao is a semi-realistic sci-fi FPS action-adventure game for PC. It’ll be fully compatible with the Steam Deck. Beta testing is available.
