Jötunnslayer: Hordes of Hel has been announced for PC. It is a roguelike horde-survivor game that’s set in the dark realms of Norse mythology. It’s brought to us by developers Games Farm (Vikings – Wolves of Midgard, Air Conflicts: Vietnam) and Publishers Grindstone (Underflow, Preserve).
It is expected to launch in Autumn 2024, or Fall 2024 for our friends over the pond. In addition to this news, there will be a playable demo of the game launching in May.

I immediately got some Diablo vibes when I watched the trailer of Jötunnslayer: Hordes of Hel. However, it’s not going to be like that, it just gave me those vibes.
Warriors will embark on a hazardous quest through the dark realms of Norse mythology. The game is set to be a gripping roguelike horde arena survival game. It will boast cutting-edge graphics as well as an immersive story arc. Players will choose a fallen soul that has been condemned to suffer in Helheim and wield their blades against legions of foes. Will you survive this relentless quest for redemption?
Helheim is a desolate domain, divine blessings are scarce, and only earned by spilling rivers of blood. Sounds good to me!
The game will have some very hostile realms of the Norse underworld. Warriors will invoke mighty boss battles through ancient rituals and fight to the death in pursuit of salvation.
