Great news for fans of the space travelling warrior we all know as Predator. The jungle has come alive on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S as the game was newly released onto these platforms yesterday, October 1st 2024.
IllFonic Inc in collaboration with 20th Century Games has released Predator: Hunting Grounds onto the new platforms.
You Are One Ugly …
We all know that quote, well we do if we’ve seen the first Predator movie more than once anyway! However, the game will not be ugly as it is running on Unreal Engine 4.27, Vivox, and Wwise.
Predator: Hunting Grounds offers players three options from their chosen digital storefront:
- Standard Edition – $19.99
- This version includes the base game with a bonus “Feral Predator”. This variant of Predator from the movie “Prey” comes equipped with his Crossbolt Gun, Combistick, and Shield.
- Jungle Edition – $24.99
- The Jungle Edition includes the Standard Edition content plus the following Predators: Samurai, Valkyrie, Viking, and the City Hunter (97). Each has their own custom weaponry
- Yautja Edition – $69.99
- Finally, the Yautja Edition includes everything in the Standard and Jungle editions as well as almost all of the DLC Predators:
- Bionic Predator, Cleopatra, Emissary, Exiled, Hunting Party (Captured, Falconer and Mr. Black Predators,) Hunting Party 2 (Amazon and Pirate Predators,) Hunting Party 3 (Celtic, Chopper, and Scar Predators) all equipped with custom weaponry.
- Finally, the Yautja Edition includes everything in the Standard and Jungle editions as well as almost all of the DLC Predators:
It has been confirmed that those who would prefer to purchase a physical copy of the game on PS5 will have to wait for the launch on November 12th. The physical release is in partnership with Skybound Games.
