SAND LAND is to receive a videogame adaption from the manga by Akira Toriyama. The game is being brought to us by developers ILCA, Inc (ONE PIECE ODYSSEY) and Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc (Elden Ring, TEKKEN 8). It is due to be released on 26th April 2024 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
A SANDSTORM Is Coming!
SAND LAND is set in a world from the imagination of the late Akira Toriyama, whom you may know mainly from Dragon Ball. He also worked on many video games including Chrono Trigger, Blue Dragon, and the Dragon Quest series.
In SAND LAND players will see Beelzebub and friends set out in search for the Legendary Spring. They must find this to save the world from an implacable draught. However, the armed forces of the King are looking to stop them.
The new trailer showcases action-packed sequences to the rhythm of Eurodance song, Sandstorm by Darude. Rather fitting if you ask me.
Beelzebub has lots of tricks up his sleeves, whether on foot or riding in vehicles. Some of these tricks will deliver powerful punches or even bullet rains to counter any opponents standing in his way.
Whilst progressing through the game, players will develop Beelzebub’s skills and unlock devilish capacities as they fight off the Sand Land King’s goons. Not only that, there is also Muniel who is the hero in the neighbour land, and his devoted army.
