SERUM, the upcoming survival adventure game from Game Island and Toplitz Productions (Sengoku Dynasty, Industry Giant) has had a new video revealed. This video showcases how players will be able to take advantage of some of the powerful side effects when brewing different recipes of Serum.
Harness The Power of Mutation!
If players successfully brew Serums they will allow them to master their mutations and boost abilities. As you can see in the below video, there is a small selection showcased. I will add, they look pretty damn good. I love the aesthetic of the game too.
Some that are showcased in the video are active camo, speed, and attack moves. There are also some unique abilities on show like Tether. Tether allows players to encase dangerous enemies for a short period of time in vines. Awesome.
As it stands, SERUM is lining up to be the latest addition to the popular survival adventure genre. The game will fuse exploration, crafting, puzzle solving, and heart-pounding survival against the mutated creatures that roam the game world.
The mysterious elixir known as serum is crucial to your survival in this infected world. It is a lifeline that has a curing effect of the Blight which is a man-made catastrophic event that has devastated the world as we know it.
