Kasedo Games and developer Beard Envy are excited to announce the roguelite spaceship repair simulator Uncle Chop’s Rocket Shop. It will land on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch next year.
Last year, Uncle Chop’s Rocket Shop was unveiled for PC during the IGN Awesome Indies Showcase. It is a comical repair simulator that has highly responsive mechanics and a roguelite format. It’s a game that challenges you to fix spaceships on an asteroid-bound service station.
Come on down to Uncle Chop’s Rocket Shop for all your roguelite spaceship repair simulation needs! Wake up, clock in, fix ships, make friends and enemies, pay R.E.N.T., upgrade your workshop, ponder the futility of your existence, go to bed and then do it all over again the next day.
Play as Wilbur, a vest-wearing Fox. Carve out a paltry living as a mechanic, repairing as many ships as you can to afford the ever-rising rent payments to your tyrannical boss, Uncle Chop.
Wilbur has an assortment of tools, diagnostic devices, parts, and workshop appliances to fix issues in procedurally generated spaceships. These problems will be based on brand-specific manuals that will be obtained during the game. You will have to complete a variety of jobs, ranging from basic refuelling tasks to complete mechanical overhauls. You will need to frantically fumble, slice, loosen, tighten, grab and drop and try to complete as many jobs as possible within each daily time limit.
Clock in, think fast, work faster and pay the ever-escalating bills, forcing you to take on more audacious and risky jobs from a diverse range of oddballs.
Uncle Chop’s Rocket Shop, will launch on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC in 2024.
If you want to play it now, though, then check out the Steam page.
