Welcome to my review of the iWalk LinkPod 4800mAh USB C Portable Power Bank. That is a mouthful to say out loud I can tell you that. The LinkPod is one of the latest devices from iWalk, a company known for making numerous different devices for mobile phones and tablets.
Some of their devices range from headphones to keyboards, and power banks (obviously). I was kindly sent an iWalk LinkPod 4800mAh USB C Portable Power Bank and I will say it right now, it’s bloody handy!
Pocket Sized Power!

The Hardware
Inside the box, we have the iWalk LinkPod, a USB C charging cable, a quick start guide, and a warranty card. So you might be thinking, ok so this is typically a gaming website and we’re reviewing a power bank.
Let me tell you, it certainly comes in handy when you’re on the go and gaming on your phone. I even found it useful to charge my Bluetooth headphones when I was in a pinch whilst walking home and they had no charge.
The iWalk LinkPod is small enough to fit basically anywhere. In your pocket, in your bag, even in one of those little “man bag” things you see the yobbo’s wearing. The device comes in five different colours. Black, white, pink, blue, and purple.
It has a battery capacity of 4800mAh which is enough to fully charge a Samsung Galaxy Flip 3. Well, that’s what the iWalk site says. In reality, that will fully charge a lot of phones that are USB C capable. I personally have a Samsung S22 Ultra which has a 5000mAh battery, so the iWalk LinkPod would basically fully charge my S22U.
As mentioned above, the LinkPod is pretty damn small considering it can fully charge a decent phone back up to nearly 100%.
The LinkPod itself can be fully charged in 1.5 hours via the built-in USB C output, or you can charge it via the provided cable on the side of the device where it has a USB C input. It supports up to 18W fast charge capabilities too.
I was also very surprised that this also charged my nephew’s Samsung A7 tablet when I was helping him reset it as he had locked himself out of it.
Another cool feature of the LinkPod is the small screen that tells you the remaining battery life of the device.
Key Features
- 18w Fast Charge Power Delivery
- Very small and lightweight considering the spec
- 4800mAh battery
- Absolutely amazing for travelling and when not near a power socket
- A small screen that tells you the remaining battery life of the LinkPod
Connection and Software
Of course, this is only a power bank so there is no software needed whatsoever. Connection-wise, we have the aforementioned USB C input and a USB C output. Both of which can be used to charge the LinkPod or the other way and charge a device that’s connected to it.
Conclusions
The iWalk LinkPod 4800mAh USB C Portable Power Bank is actually a fantastic little device which exceeded my expectations by a long shot. I highly recommend you grab one, or the iPhone version if you’re an Apple user. Many times this little handy unit came in handy to help me charge devices. I score the iWalk LinkPod a 10/10!
