The Star-Studded game Crime Boss: Rockay City has today been released onto the Epic Games Store. The game is published by 505 Games and developed by INGAME Studios.
Be A ’90s Organised Crime Boss
The organised crime shooter begins Live Service, and it’s announced that there are years of rolling content planned.
The game will combine action set-pieces, turf wars, and of course, over-the-top-call-backs to 90s crime movies. There are enough stars here to make a Tarantino movie! We have Michael Madsen, Chuck Norris, Kim Basinger, Danny Trejo, Michael Rooker, Danny Glover, Damion Poitier, and Vanilla Ice.
Yes… That Vanilla ice, ice baby. Sorry, I had to.
Crime Boss: Rockay City pits the protagonist Travis Baker (Michael Madsen) against some absolutely ridiculous odds in a fierce turf war to become king of Rockay City’s criminal underworld.
Players will help Baker climb to the top of the Rockay City criminal ladder. You’ll also have to evade capture of the Sherriff who is played by none other than Chuck Norris. You’ve already lost. Every play through will be different and it’s said that no road to glory is the same as the last.
You can navigate through missions in your own playstyle as well as build a team across two co-op modes where the stakes are high… Because permadeath is real!
“The release of Crime Boss:Rockay City is the culmination of years of hard work by an incredibly dedicated and talented new studio in the shape of INGAME STUDIOS,” said Neil Ralley, President of 505 Games. “As we launch this live service game for 505 Games, today marks the beginning of Crime Boss: Rockay City’s story, and we can’t wait continue building out the world of Crime Boss and all the potential it has to offer gamers.”
“It feels great to finally reveal our game to the world”, said Jarek Kolář, Development Director at INGAME Studios, “Crime Boss: Rockay City has been the greatest pleasure to bring to life, and we’ve crammed it with so many over-the-top missions, characters, and 90s call-backs, we hope people will have as much fun playing it as we did building it. And this is just the beginning!”
