It is with great pleasure that we pass on the news that EDENGATE: The Edge of Life launches today on Xbox One. This news is from the indie publishing label HOOK which is known for Madshot and Unholy.
Solve the Mystery
EDENGATE: The Edge of Life will cost £5.89 and it’s also out now on PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam.
The game is written by award-winning writer Matthew Seiji Burns. Matthew is the Director and Writer of the critically acclaimed visual novel Eliza. It takes players on an emotional journey and is set through the eyes of Mia.
Mia is a promising young biologist who has woken to find herself in an abandoned hospital and has no idea of how or why she is there. The game’s concept was formed during the most difficult times of the COVID-19 pandemic if you’ve heard of that… I think I can recall something about it.
The game is a representation of the uncertainty, fear, and isolation that most felt during the pandemic. The developers are hoping these feelings come across to players when playing EDENGATE: The Edge of Life. The game brings an emotional narrative and experience that’s enhanced by a haunting soundtrack. This was composed by Laryssa Okada, who composed the soundtrack for Manifold Garden.
