Good Hands, a cosy gardening puzzle game from solo developer stemtoto, reaches Steam in Q1 2027. The debut release takes players to the Swahili coast. A young girl helps her older neighbour reclaim an overgrown seaside garden, one small task at a time.
Good Hands is a puzzle game in the fictional world of Zimzemba. Small acts of care carry a much bigger story. Players take the role of Nia, a young girl helping her older neighbour, Aunty Zubeida. Together they tend an overgrown seaside garden.

Through sorting, planting, pruning, and tidying, players uncover a gentle narrative about family, migration, and resilience on the Swahili coast.
The design favours calm, contemplative play. Good Hands asks players to slow down and sit with the connection between two generations.

“Growing up playing video games, I never saw characters or cultures that spoke to my own childhood,” shares creative director Neema Iyer. “Developing Good Hands has been an incredibly fun experience, and I hope players get a taste of the joy and care that went into shaping Nia and Zubeida’s world. This game is especially close to my heart because it speaks to my own story of migration and to the love and grief that persist across the miles.”
Good Hands arrives on PC via Steam in Q1 2027.
