Mike Klubnika, the solo developer behind the viral indie-horror sensation Buckshot Roulette, is today thrilled to announce that s.p.l.i.t – a short, narrative-driven, psychological horror – is now available to purchase via Steam for Windows, SteamOS and Linux for $2.99 USD / €2.99 EUR / £2.49 GBP – with an additional 15% discount available during launch week.
The game’s intensely atmospheric soundtrack is also now available via Bandcamp, YouTube, iTunes and Spotify, featuring nine original tracks of dark, industrial ambient electronica – all written, composed & produced by Mike Klubnika and mastered by crisp.

An intense 90-minute psychological-horror-hacker, s.p.l.i.t, plunges players into the dark, sickly world of cybercrime, as they attempt to gain access to an unethical superstructure, and once in – execute a devastating malware attack.
It features tactile, keyboard-driven raw command-line interactions, cerebral terminal hacking puzzles and an anxiety-inducing narrative. All of which is dripping in Klubnika’s trademark dystopian, low-fi audiovisual stylings which deliver a highly atmospheric, pulse-pounding experience in which the dread creeps in with every keystroke.

A daunting task lies ahead. Unconscionable secrets and vulnerabilities lie buried deep below legacy code and engineering. Meticulous planning and unwavering composure will uncover them. Regardless of the outcome, people won’t tell this story for decades. Will you hold up your end?
