Spilled! has received a stunning visual overhaul. There is also a new demo available on Steam! The game is being self-published and developed by Lente.
Lente originally began developing Spilled! in 2022 when she left school. Her dream was to live on a small boat and to continue the maritime lifestyle that she grew up with.
Progress was slow, but the game began to gain traction. During the early parts of 2024, Lente’s Kickstarter campaign was massive. She raised €31,600 which was 316% of the original €10,000 target! The game was fully funded in 12 hours.
Keep Those Waters Clean In Spilled!
Lente hired a talented Tech Artist with the funds, this helped her give Spilled! a major graphics update. But, that wasn’t all. Together, they have developed a new demo available for all to try on Steam.
Spilled! is a short but relaxing game that will bring satisfaction to players as they clean up oil spills with a boat. In the game, you will be able to recycle, upgrade your boat by earning coins, and more.
The game was also recently featured in the Wholesome Direct amid Summer Games Fest. Since this, the game has gained over 39,000 Steam wishlists. This has helped it gain a mass of popularity among gamers.
I, for one, think the game looks brilliant. It’s now on my wishlist too!
