Adelaide-based Andrew Bray has announced his debut title, VAGRIENT, will be launching on Steam in Q1 2025.
VAGRIENT is a top-down open-world 2D action adventure set in a science fiction universe. You play as the titular character himself. After being separated from his clan at war in another solar system, he must restore power to the corrupted warpgate.
In order to return to his home planet, he will explore a vast solar system in the hope of finding what he desires. However, the journey won’t be easy; he will encounter hostile alien life forms and all manner of dangerous entities.
Vagrient isn’t defenceless, though. In VAGRIENT, the health and energy systems are intertwined, requiring players to consider their actions in combat and puzzle-solving scenarios thoughtfully. As you advance, you’ll unlock new skills that rely on your energy and obtain permanent upgrades.
Throughout the universe, relics await discovery, and they can enhance Vagrient’s skills further when utilized.
VAGRIENT will launch on PC (via Steam) in Q1 2025. The official @VagrientGame Twitter (X) page will share more updates leading up to launch.
