Developers Rayka Studio are excited to announce that their beautiful Eastern fantasy creature collecting adventure RPG Yaoling: Mythical Journey (formerly known as Home of the Yokai) is featuring at Steam Next Fest with a free demo, available now! From today till the 17th of June, you can get a taste of an expansive spiritual realm where you’ll find creature companionship and a village sanctuary to build. Additionally, you can engage in thrilling auto-battling combat to banish demonic forces.
Yaoling: Mythical Journey takes place in the Land of the Ancients, where humans and creatures called Yaolings live together in close harmony. Peace – usually upheld by the Divine Jade Tree – has been broken by a gloom-ridden force that’s infected the land. Beneath the seemingly harmonious facade of Yaoling: Mythical Journey stirs a dark force, and the Yaolings are becoming increasingly restless and uneasy…
Driven by destiny, you become a Yaoling Keeper. Tasked with collecting tokens from the various Schools of the Yaoling Keeper to reunite the Yaoling Keeping Association. You’ll embark on a journey through a vast world brimming with companions to meet and over 300 different Yaolings to collect. Take command of your Yaoling companions, utilizing their individual strengths and weaknesses to craft effective battle strategies.
Yaolings are born for both battle and friendship. You’ve got a village to build and they’re here to help in any way they can – they can garden, mine, craft, and even cook!
