Welcome to my review of the iWalk Reel Power Bank. This is a super handy device that most techy people should have in their bags.
There are two versions of this device. For the purpose of my review, I was kindly sent the USB-C version. The other version has a built-in lightning cable to charge iOS devices.
The Hardware
There’s not much in the box, because you don’t need much. The iWalk Reel Power Bank has got its own retractable cable literally inside of itself. However, there is also a welcome guide and a USB-C to USB-C charging cable included too.
You can use this cable to charge not only your phone, tablet, or gaming devices, but you can also charge the power bank itself with the same cable. For those interested, it’s quite long too, coming in at 27.6 inches which is approximately 70 centimetres.
The device itself has a 10000mAh battery that is capable of charging and iPhone 15 or 16 almost two times and the likes of a Samsung S24 one and a half times.
Thanks to the 30 watt charging this can also achieve very good charging speeds whilst on the go. You can charge an iPhone 15/16 up to 50% in around 25 minutes.
Also, the iWalk Reel Power Bank can charge up to three devices simultaneously. This is because of the retractable cable that’s built in, a USB-C port, and a USB-A port.
I quite like the built in LED display, it’s bright, the text is very clear, and it gives you the remaining battery percentage of the power bank, so you’ll know if you need to charge it before venturing to the great outdoors.
The retractable cable is absolutely brilliant, and I wish I had something this good a few years ago when Pokémon Go first released…
I really could have done with this then instead of a massive power bank in my bag with a 2-metre cable hanging out of it going to my phone. 😂
Conclusions
The iWalk Reel Power Bank is a fantastic bit of kit and I will find it very hard for you to go wrong at the price point of under £26 at the time of writing.
Sure, there are better power banks out there. But why pay more when this is more than likely all you’ll need?!
That’s of course if you’re not gaming on the go on something like a Steam Deck or Asus ROG Ally… Watch this space.
I give the iWalk Reel Powerbank a 10/10.
