Nacon Microphone for Streaming

Nacon Microphone for Streaming Review

Welcome to my mini review of the Nacon Microphone for Streaming. This is a wallet friendly microphone for those who don’t want to spend lots of money on hardware to talk to their friends or start their content creation journey.

This microphone is compatible with Windows 10 and 11, Linux, and PlayStation 4 and 5.

The Hardware

In the box, we get the Nacon Microphone for Streaming itself, a 1.1 metre USB-C cable, and a quick start guide.

To start, I quite like the design of this microphone. It stands out in the crowd, in my humble opinion. It has a very compact design which is great for those who are always on the go or just want something small to free up extra desk space.

There are useful buttons on the microphone itself for things like volume and echo adjustment, which are very handy, especially if you don’t want to bog your system down with some extra software in the background.

This is great for streamers as it means if they don’t have a separate PC for streaming from, it won’t use valuable resources that could be used for the games/content they are streaming.

I also like that there is a noise cancellation button to help reduce those background noises with the quick press of a button. Very handy.

As with most microphones, there is an easily accessible mute button should you need to mute yourself whilst taking a call or speaking to someone IRL.

Another plus for this microphone is that there is a 3.5mm jack. So, you can physically connect earbuds or a headset to the microphone. Again, very handy.

I found whilst using the Nacon Microphone for Streaming that the person hearing me said the voice was very clear. The mic offered nice rich trebles as well as a deep bass that was not overwhelming to them.

I do like that this is essentially a plug and play microphone. If you’re not sure what that means, it’s how it sounds. You plug it into your computer and it’s ready to use with your software such as OBS or Discord.

Overall, I would like to say that this microphone really is a great bit of kit. Especially for those who are just starting out. I mean to be fair, even the more seasoned content creators could probably use this with no problems too!

Conclusions

Considering the Nacon Microphone for Streaming costs around £60 at the time of writing, it’s an excellent addition to any budding content creator’s setup. It has good quality recording as well as some other fancy options.
