Rogueside is pleased to announce that their hidden object franchise will receive a new entry on August 13th. Hidden Through Time 2: Discovery will be available on Xbox Series X|S, Steam (PC), PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Mobile (iOS/Android).
This is not DLC for HTT2: Myths & Magic. This will be a standalone game. Hidden Through Time 2: Discovery will see players finding objects across three enchanting eras. Sci-Fi, Victorian, and Noir. It will feature a total of thirty-three levels.
The different eras feature different characters. Help detective Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson in the Victorian Era. The Noir era will see players helping detective Jane Spade. Finally, the Sci-Fi era will see Anna embark on her first mission.
Reality shift will also be returning, which was a new feature introduced in HTT2: Myths & Magic. There will also be a map editor for players to create and share their creations with the community. But, take note this will not be available on mobile platforms.
Key features
- The game ensures a relaxing and cozy experience by omitting timers or similar pressure-inducing mechanics, allowing players to enjoy the game at their own pace.
- Players can utilise assets from three distinct eras—Noir, Victorian, and Sci-Fi—to unleash their creativity in the Map Editor, where they can also share their creations with the community.
- Seen in the previous game, Hidden Through Time 2: Myths & Magic, the Reality Shift feature makes a return. This allows players to explore a whole host of new objects as they can shift between time and season, giving more depth to each map, enabling more space for storytelling within one map.
