Willy’s Wonderland – the game, is releasing today on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam).
If you’re not aware, this is a game transformation of the suspense action movie from 2021 starring Nicholas Cage. The game does not star him though.
The Movie Becomes A Console Game!
The game is a 2.5D beat ’em up game in which a group of Animatronics come to life and slaughter any who dare to visit Willy’s Wonderland.
Sound familiar? I thought so too. It sounds a lot like a game that was released a long time ago by someone named Scott, doesn’t it?
Either way, the trailer makes the game look rather fun and completely different from that other game.
Players will take control of either The Janitor or Liv as they face off against hordes of evil commanded by the Animatronics. You can play solo or in cooperative mode with another player.
The game was originally released on mobile devices in 2021 but is no longer available.
Game features:
- Fight against hordes of enemies in “2.5D retro beat ‘em up” style inspired by the classics of the genre;
- Go through Willy’s Wonderland themed stages;
- Two characters to choose from;
- Make use of special techniques and powerful abilities;
- Defeat multiple waves of enemies, as well as threatening bosses in each level;
- Local cooperative mode for two players.
