Developer Jett Williams has announced during the recent INDIE Live Expo that their upcoming 2D physics-based metroidvania Moonbrella will be launching on PC (via Steam), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Moonbrella is a physics-based 2D Metroidvania which uses a variety of umbrella tricks to ascend to the moon.
With a strong focus on speedrunning and multiple ways to tackle its challenges, the upgradeable umbrella introduces fresh obstacles for both new players and seasoned veterans, rewarding those who master its unconventional controls.

“I grew up playing console games and fantasising about one day making my own,” shared lead developer Jett Williams. “So being able to publish them myself is a dream come true. It’s crazy just how much indies can do themselves these days. Seeing the recent response to the game from YouTube Shorts has been mind-blowing. I never expected to pull similar numbers to Megabonk, but here we are.”

Moonbrella is slated to launch on PC (via Steam), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
