Morbid

Morbid: The Lords of Ire Release Pulled Forward!

Morbid: The Lords of Ire has had its release date pulled forward. It’s not often you read that, is it? The new launch date will be May 17th 2024. The game will be released on PlayStation 5, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X|S. Maximum Entertainment and Still Running are also excited to reveal that last-gen players can jump in on Xbox One!

Xbox One Love!

That’s right, there will be an Xbox One version. You can look at this as either a great thing, or, will it potentially hold the game back? Who knows, personally I think it’s quite a good thing.

It has been confirmed that there will be physical versions of Morbid: The Lords of Ire on PS5 and Switch. Pre-orders are now open. I must add that this is a sequel to Morbid: The Seven Acolytes which was released in 2020.

In Morbid: The Lords of Ire players will face off against hordes of hideous creatures with ferocious hack-and-slash combat. The game will test your mental and physical resolve in a hellscape that threatens your very sanity. In this game, you will be able to loot and scavenge unique weapons as you traverse the festering corruption and rot in the stricken lands of ire.

Morbid: The Lords of Ire will also allow players to find runes and upgrade their weapons which in turn will alter their abilities or perks.
