Welcome to my review of the Nacon RIG 600 Pro HS wireless gaming headset. It is compatible with PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, and PC.
This wireless headset supports Bluetooth as well as has its own 2.4GHz wireless USB-C adaptor. It can support dual audio input meaning you can connect to a PS5 with the adaptor, and a Steam Deck with Bluetooth at the same time, as an example.
The Nacon RIG 600 Pro HS is out now and can be purchased for as around £70. Continue reading to find out if they’re worth a purchase.
The Hardware
Upon opening the box, you’re greeted with a well-packaged headset from Nacon. My initial thoughts were the build quality actually felt quite good considering the lower price, this was not expected at all.
It’s made of plastic so does feel a bit flexible or that you may break it if you’re not too careful. That can not be avoided though if you ask me. If you want metal, the price will naturally be a lot higher.
The headset cups have levels of adjustment using a “snap-fit” design which seems to work very well.
The headset also has a controller built into the left cup which allows you to control the volume, mute/unmute the microphone, and turn the headset on or off.
The microphone is able to hide away in the left ear cup should you not wish to use it. It is said that the headset can last up to 24 hours on a single charge when using Bluetooth, and 18 hours when using the USB-C wireless adaptor.

Design and Functionality
I quite like the design of the headset with the soft leatherette earmuffs. These are also removable so can be cleaned or replaced if required. The headset comes in three colour choices, black, acid, and white. The acid colour way looks awesome in my opinion.
The sound quality of the Nacon RIG 600 Pro HS is very acceptable for the price range. I found that I could hear a lot of the more quieter sounds rather well in games such as A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead. The microphone also presents a clear voice that your teammates/friends will clearly hear when you’re shouting for help or sending recon info to those teammates in the latest online games.
Conclusions
The Nacon RIG 600 Pro HS is one of the most comfortable headsets that I have worn in a long time. Usually I find they end up irritating me after a while, or make my ears feel pretty hot. In addition to this it gives a fantastic battery life on a single charge.
I did not have this issue whatsoever with the RIG 600. So to answer if these are worth a purchase or not, I most definitely believe they are. The only improvement I feel that could be made is noise cancellation from external noises, they do well at blocking out noise but they do not do the proper job.
