Peglin Launches on Nintendo Switch: A Unique Blend of Pachinko and Roguelike

Indie game publisher BlitWorks Games announces the release of Peglin (by Red Nexus Games) for Nintendo Switch, which launched August 27th after its announcement at the Indie World event by Nintendo.

The peaceful village of the Peglins has been ravaged by an evil dragon, and it’s your time to step up! Armed with pebbles, navigate through various challenges using the joy-cons or touch screen, and reclaim the little ones’ home.

Peglin arrives on the Nintendo Switch as a temporary console exclusive, bringing its unique blend of strategy and fun to your fingertips. It is an addictive game that combines the best of each genre.

The definitive mix between pachinko and roguelike

In this game, progress through each level by choosing your next challenge and defeating enemies and bosses with bouncing orbs. After each encounter, decide which stage to go to next. However, the choice itself is like a pachinko level, so it may not turn out the way you expect!

Deck-builder (Or should we say… pebble-builder?)

Get your deck ready and experience unlimited replay options in every playthrough. Thanks to a diverse selection of levels, orbs, enemies, relics, encounters, and characters to unlock, each with unique stats and game-changing abilities, you’ll have endless combinations to explore. Every playthrough offers a different experience!

And for the most daring… after each successfully completed run, a new difficulty level is unlocked!

Turn-based combat

Fight waves of enemies in turn-based combat, strategically choosing which ones to target using special orbs. Upgrade your pebbles, purchase new ones, and prepare to confront the final boss of each stage.

Defeat the dragon, bring peace back to their world and prove yourself as the hero the Peglins need. Bounce to victory!

Peglin launches on Nintendo Switch for £17.99 / 19,99 USD / 19,99 Euros.
