Rising Heat, the hordelike bullet hell sci-fi game from Fuzzy Sock Studios and Apogee Entertainment has today had its debut demo launched!
I must admit, this is the first time I have heard of a “hordelike” game. Well, that I am aware of.
The demo of Rising Heat is available for you to check out on Steam now, it looks like it could be a brilliant game on the Steam Deck.
The fast-paced combat in the game will see players face swarms of insectoid cyborgs. The demo will allow you to play up to and including the first gauntlet of the multi-stage behemoth bosses.
You will have to balance a powerful dance of defence and offence with a dynamic momentum-based movement system. The combat will see you execute a flurry of precise tackles as you line up multiple enemies to make them meat their maker. All of this whilst you are dodging a barrage of enemy bullets!
In the full game you will be able to experiment with a plethora of customisations. This includes new pilots, hacks, and ships that have distinctive starting statistics and passive abilities. Can you find the perfect combo to reach the end of the game?
You can watch the trailer below. Also, you can check out our previous news. If you wish to learn more, please visit the Apogee website.
To try the demo, check the game out on the Steam Store.
