Silent Hill 2 has had a new trailer revealed during the January 2024 State of Play from PlayStation. The game is being developed by Bloober Team (The Medium, Blair Witch) and published by Konami. The game is due to release in 2024 on PlayStation 5 and PC. This survival horror game will be sure to scare the pants off of you!
Don’t Go To Silent Hill!
Silent Hill 2 was originally released in 2001 on the PlayStation 2. This remake will revisit Silent Hill and see protagonist James Sunderland investigate a letter from his wife Mary who has long been dead. Of course, this comes from the cursed town of Silent Hill.
The game will see art from Masahiro Ito (Silent Hill franchise, Metal Gear Survive) and music composed by Akira Yamaoka (Killer is Dead, The Medium). It will also bring the unsettling town shrouded in the brooding fog to play on modern systems in 4K!
The new trailer reveals some of the combat you can expect in the game, as well as some of the awesome in-game graphics!
