Seenda SK73-3

Seenda SK73-3 Review

Welcome to my review of the Seenda SK73-3 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse combo. For the review, I have been sent the green and purple option. There is another option that is all white.

So, Seenda are a new brand to me for actual review hardware. I have heard of their hardware before when I have been browsing around the internet looking for hardware.

I was very excited when Seenda kindly contacted us to send us the SK73-3 for review!

The Hardware

As mentioned, I was sent the Seenda SK73-3 in the green and purple colourway.

In the box we have the keyboard, the mouse, the manual, and also a cover for the keyboard. I thought that was pretty cool as that can help keep the keyboard nice and clean whilst in use. However, I wasn’t a fan of using the keyboard with the cover, it feels so much nicer to type on without the cover on it.

This is a combination pack of a wireless keyboard and wireless mouse. Both use actual batteries to power them. The keyboard uses a single AAA battery whilst the mouse uses a single AA battery.

I will get it out of the way now, but this, in my humble opinion, was a let down. I don’t know why, I guess I’ve been spoiled, but I thought this was a rechargeable set. But, that’s not the end of the world as other features make up for that. Plus you could just buy some rechargeable AA / AAA batteries.

The kit connects to your hardware using a USB dongle. In my testing, I used this with my PC, a Windows laptop, an Android tablet, and also my wife’s iPad Air M2. For both of the tablets I thought I would have needed a USB-C to USB-A adapter. But I did not, the dongle that is provided with the Seenda SK73-3 combo has both a USB-A and a USB-C connector, one on each end of the dongle. Absolutely great idea.

So basically, you should be able to connect the Seenda SK73-3 to basically anything that accepts input via a keyboard and mouse.

All the Devices!

The keyboard is a full size and even has a numpad which is pretty useful at times, for me anyway. It’s very nice to type on and is very quiet to type on. Especially if you brush over the keys like I do when touch typing. There are also hot/quick keys for changing things such as volume or screen brightness on the connected device.

It doesn’t feel cheap or like I am going to break it by using the keyboard. I even bent it the wrong way a little just to see how the flex was and it didn’t feel like it was about to snap. Of course if I applied too much force, it would break. But, that’s obvious with anything made of plastic really.

The mouse is also nice to use. It’s light, has silent clicks, and the battery lasts a long time before needing a replacement. It’s said that the battery can last up to 90 days standby time on the keyboard and mouse.

There are left and right-click buttons and a scroll wheel with a middle click function.

Conclusions

I was pleasantly surprised by the Seenda SK73-3. The keyboard is very nice to type on and feels of a very high quality. I really like the rounded key caps and the small indentation each one has. This helps your  fingers feel the keys whilst touch typing.

The mouse also feels great to use as it’s very light and the clicks are silent, just like the keys on the keyboard if you type fast and brush the keycaps like myself.

The only improvement I think could be made is the aforementioned inclusion of internal rechargeable batteries.
