TOZO HT2

TOZO HT2 Review

Welcome to my review of the TOZO HT2 Bluetooth earphones.

I have now reviewed a few products from TOZO, and so far the headphones have been great for the price range.

The TOZO HT2 are available in five colour choices at the time of writing, black, khaki, pink, white, and red. Just to change things up a bit, for the purpose of this review I requested and received a pair of the pink colourway.

The Hardware

Opening the box we can see our new headphones, some quick start guides, a 3.5mm analogue cable, and a charging cable.

So, straight to the point as always, the TOZO HT2 are a great bang for buck. At the time of writing these are available on Amazon for £49.99. Saving pennies means everything especially in this current climate, so how do these headphones perform?

Well they have some pretty good features. For starters, they can last at least 40 hours on a single charge, that’s using noise cancellation. If you disable the noise cancellation you’re looking at around 60 hours of battery life. That’s impressive.

Whilst the HT2 do not provide a huge amount of bass, I feel the sound quality is rather good for a variety of uses. I listened to many different genres of music on them, tried out some games not only on my mobile but on my PC too. I also listened to a lot of YouTube on them.

The HT2 are pretty comfortable and also stay in place pretty well. I gave my head a good wobble and they didn’t appear to move much. So I believe these would be great for you that like to run or go to the gym. Speaking of that, they have IPX8 protection.

Essentially this means that if it starts raining whilst you’re out and about, it won’t matter too much as your headphones should survive just fine. IPX8 also means they’re sweat resistant so this will also help whilst running on a hotter day or going to the gym to sweat it out.

IPX8 does not offer dust protection, so if you like to go to the beach, then be careful. This is worth noting but I would say you’d be fine if laying on a towel or something like that.

Sound quality wise, I’ve heard better from the likes of Edifier or Soundcore. But, they do cost a little more than these headphones. So, as always, it’s very budget dependant. However, that’s not to say they sound terrible. With a few tweaks in the TOZO mobile app, you can get them sounding pretty good.

The app also has presets for the EQ as well as other features like being able to update the firmware of the headphones to ensure they’re bug free and have the latest features should TOZO be able to push any via software updates.

Conclusions

The TOZO HT2 Bluetooth headphones are a nice set of headphones that offer good sound quality at a great price of £49.99.

As I always say, there are most definitely better headphones out there… But they’re no where near this low price.

I give the TOZO HT2 earbuds a 7/10.
